The Roman Hideout Award
The Roman Hideout staff scans day by day thousands of
web sites researching everything that can be related to the ancient roman
world and selecting only the best for their users.
According to our mission is natural our desire to reward those people that gives
a contribution to the research in the ancient roman life, with a special focus
on the military aspects.
For this reasons we created two awards (gold and platinum) to be attributed yearly to those web sites that match our
requirements.
Those web sites that are currently winners will be listed on our pages
with the logo  , if Gold
awarded, or  in case
they won the Platinum one.
The Gold Award
This award will be attributed to the web sites that meet one
or more of the
following requirements:
- news publications
- archaeology publications freely accessible
- research
- high quality reenactment groups
- general documentation
The Platinum Award
This award will be attributed to the web sites that meet one
or more of the
Gold Award requirements, plus, in addition, when web design, originality and
content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.
- high quality graphics
- special important discoveries in the archaeology field or reconstructions.
